The pumps made
by this Japanese manufacturer are famous for their
energy-efficient, high-quality design. The smallest
size we stock is the 2-PU, a workhorse 3400 GPH
solids pump that has long been the favorite of
professional pond builders. For higher flow rates,
we offer the PN series, Tsurumi's latest and most
advanced pump design, with peak flow rates from 4250
to 6250 GPH (3-PN, 4-PN, and 8-PN). We also can
supply the remarkable AB2/4, a heavy-duty utility
pump with a super-efficient axial flow impeller
capable of moving more than 15,000 GPH with only 750
watts of power! (Note that this pump is suitable for
low-lift applications only and requires four-inch
piping). All five pumps feature ceramic shaft seals,
stainless-steel motor housings, long power cords,
and two-year warranties. Although Tsurumi pumps use
dry-motor technology, they do contain a small amount
of oil shaft lubricant that should be replaced
occasionally to assure the longest possible pump
life.
