Biological and Mechanical Filtration:

Spirex Aquatec pioneered vortex-type filtration in 1987 with the introduction of Spirex settling tanks. Since then, they have inspired many versions from other manufacturers. 

The Options Range is high quality molded MDPE superior in design and efficiency when compared to other systems. Their versatile, modular design (copyrighted) is suitable for series or parallel arrangements. The compound cone bottom comes to a point for efficient waste disposal. 

These filters are designed with a unique and secure coupling system, giving extremely strong and durable connections. Optional support skirts are available for easy installation on a flat surface (1000 and 2000 series only). Springflo filter media is recommended for these filters due to its efficiency and convenience; however, other media can be used.
